Stefan’s passion for solutions building started at an early age, and was solidified through a dual degree in Marketing and Information Technology from the College of William and Mary. After graduating, Stefan secured a management consulting position with American Management Systems (now CGI) in 1997, starting his technology career smack dab in the middle of the dot.com bubble.
He left Virginia, and headed to Düsseldorf, Germany for three years to help design and develop a large Telecom ERP and Billing System for a major Telecom in Germany. It was here that he really developed his understanding of how to take a big solution vision from ideation to implementation.
After the dot.com bubble burst, the entire 300+ person development team was sent back to the U.S. Having the option to either return to Virginia or come out to Denver, Stefan chose Colorado and has never looked back.
Upon landing in Colorado, and after 9 years as a C++ developer, he left the corporate consulting world to explore a career in sales and business development. After gaining a few years of experience he met his co-founder, Matthew Jaffe. In 2006, they partnered to found 303 Software. Stefan continues to leverage his love for logic and programming when identifying opportunities for clients and prospects to solve their business needs with custom technology solutions. After a successful exit from a side project product venture, he is always seeking the next product opportunity with Matt while they continue to grow 303 Software.
Stefan's love for Colorado is exhibited through his involvement in several local boards and community organizations. He is also actively engaged in Denver's startup and digital health communities.
Stefan is a husband and father of two girls. His passion for singing and playing music is fueled by his current musical project, The Reformers. Stefan gets a bit of exercise here and there while biking, skiing, boarding and climbing in and outside his Colorado home base.
