Matt’s career in tech started with a front row seat to the first dot-com boom, helping teams launch and operate early web businesses like herring.com, computers.com, shopping.com and gamecenter.com. He worked as webmaster for Red Herring Magazine and strategic development manager for CNET before founding 303 Software.
In 2006, Matt founded 303 Software with Stefan Ramsbott to provide web application development to business, government and nonprofit organizations throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Matt also led the technology and product development team for 303 Software’s spin-off digital health startup, helping to fuel three high-growth years, culminating in a successful exit through an acquisition by a major strategic consulting group.
In his free time, Matt sits on his front porch and plays guitar, maintains his old Volkswagen van and wanders Colorado’s backcountry. The thrill of the mountains drew Matt to Colorado, and the people kept him here.
“I dropped out of college and hitchhiked from the east coast to ski and live in Colorado,” Matt says. “Twenty-five years later I am still here, still loving the mountains, the cities and towns, and the people of Colorado.”
